I had a Problem with new copper golems

So, I was in a survival world and put a sword in a copper chest the golem took it but i had to kill it cause it never put it down. so, please make it so that if it's unstackable it still puts it in the chest. and maybe if it's possible which i doubt is possible, make it so they can read signs.

Was there something else in the normal chest?

You can interact (right click on PC) with a copper golem to make it drop the item it’s holding.
