Between hard-mode players wishing to remove hunger with difficult command blocks, and peaceful players wanting a purpose to farming and mining by adding hunger, the current world options feel outdated.
Minecraft is an expansive game, and customisation of gameplay can be necessary. Especially for Bedrock edition, there are few add ons which remove hostile mobs, keep hunger, and don’t cause issues. It can be stressful for both the player and the technological hardware to find something so simple, regardless of whether you play Java or BE.
A simple solution for this would be an extra option under the world creation settings menu. Choosing between Peaceful to Hard options should be about hostile mobs, and the option to toggle hunger on or off could be right under that. Given that — as far as I am aware — running and jumping depletes hunger, adding this wouldn’t cause any issues for hunger with Peaceful mode.
