Allays pick up arrows on the ground

When allays have an arrow as their item, they should be able to pick up arrows stuck in the ground, as long as they can be picked up by players (not arrows shot by mobs or infinity/multishot arrows). This would make them useful for picking up arrows that missed during or after combat.

Crossbows with piercing could benefit from this. As the arrows shot from them are able to pass through mobs, an allay will be able to pick the arrow up in any case and return it.

    Yess! 100% this, crossbows with piercing would benefit a lot from this change. Allays being able to pickup arrow entities makes a lot of sense for their purpose of bringing you items. Plus if they are fast enough they could retrieve your arrows before the other player gets it if you are in a pvp.

    I believe after a timer of 10 to 15 seconds after we stop fighting or shooting arrows, allays with arrows in their hands should pick up arrows we shot !!!

    Don't make them pick our friends arrows that's stealing your friends arrows right but only if our friend has his own arrow allay within range.

    If he doesnt then the allay picks up all pickable arrows.

    Not including arrows shot by dispensers because the dispensers can be shot again (trap)

     

    As a bonus perhaps sounding a certain sound allows the allay to pick up dispenser's arrows.
