The technical mob Mannequin is interesting in many ways, but the most important is its core feature of being an entity without built-in AI or behavior, but a multitude of behaviors not currently present in other entities.
I suggest expanding on this concept before release.
An entity that fake its own designation, can hold any mix of attributes, use any set of animations, models, and textures, and behave in any possible way, would allow creators on Java to develop custom entities that can behave as mobs or npcs, without requiring external mods.
Currently, playing custom animations or displaying custom models is not possible in Minecraft without mods or otherwise underwhelming and difficult alternatives.
Adding these features would greatly help technical users in both convenience and creativity.
