The /execute if entity command could be extended with a new functions like …if entity @a use=minecraft:harness or …if entity @a sneak for example. That would make adventure maps or Mini Games much more simple and lag-efficient. It also can be used as a method of making datapacks more user-friendly for example: sitting Datapacks, you don’t need to execute /trigger sit by adding a feature to the pack for holding sneak for 3 seconds to automatically sit.
