I am aware that version 1.21.9 is in development and would like to offer the following suggestion in case it has not been considered. Snapshot 25w35a introduced the object text component and two object types — the atlas and the player — which are, hands down, among the best additions to Minecraft. They have been extremely useful and make the game far more customizable. The ability to display player faces and various sprites is one of the most open-ended additions. However, it would be even significantly better if it were possible to set the scale of player faces and sprites. There are many instances where even the most trivial increase in the scale of the object types would dramatically alter the result and allow for even greater possibilities.
I understand that suggestions should not handicap creativity; however, I have attempted every possible avenue to alter the object sizes (full brightness, full-opacity shadows for a marginal one-pixel increase, etc.) and there is nothing that can be done to achieve that, so I believe this suggestion would allow way more possibilities for mapmakers and anyone else benefiting from this addition.
I hope to see this in the game sometime, thanks. :)
