Changing the place of the settings button is a horrible idea. It should remain among the big buttons, not become a small one.

Honestly, I agree that the game menu needs changes, but this new design has many things that I dislike.
1- Settings should be placed on the main buttons.
2- The UI design should already include the new OreUI look.
3- The availability, location, and size of the buttons seem to have been designed just for mobile (I suggest including different screens for each device/"maybe for PC something more similar to Java").
4- The black bar in the background gives the interface a heavy feel (either make the entire screen dark, or keep it clear).
5- Option to swap the sides of the buttons on mobile.
6- The buttons are too far to the corner of the screen, leaving a strange gap in the middle (and the buttons in the dark bar look very large and square, and squeezed together).

I love the look and layout of this new screen.

I despise the change made in the ordering of the buttons. Being offered to browse add-ons constantly while building in my vanilla survival world of 6 years is insulting enough; I don't need it to also be the most accessible button whenever I open the the pause menu. I change my settings, including render distance, audio balance, FOV, and those wonderful vibrant visuals, very frequently. I do not want to have to scroll past the entire "suggested" section in order to get to the part of the pause menu I find most useful.

Please make it: Resume. Settings. Save & Quit. Maybe a tiny button for marketplace below those.

At the very least, return it to the current ordering of Resume, Settings, Add-ons, Save & Quit.

To me, the idea of buying an add-on from the settings menu feels like if a Souls game had a pop-up mod-fight asking you to purchase the dlc, and this is only heightened by the idea of doing this instead of changing my intended settings.

I would like to share some feedback regarding the new look of the pause menu in Minecraft Bedrock. I understand that the purpose of the update is to modernize and improve the player experience, but I believe it would be interesting to offer the possibility to switch between the new design and the old one through an option in the settings.

Many players have a special attachment to the classic menu, whether for nostalgia or aesthetic preference, and I believe that including this option would please a large part of the community.

In addition, if this toggle option is added to the pause menu, I think it would also be important for it to apply to all of the game’s new interfaces.

Thank you for your effort in keeping Minecraft always updated and relevant, and I hope this suggestion can contribute to making the game even better for all of us.

It would be nice if it were possible to choose between the new and the old UI, just as you can already switch between “Classic” and “Pocket.” If it’s already possible to switch between these options, why not do the same with the entire UI?

The UI is nice but please switch the position of the settings and the marketplace buttons, the settings are more important than the marketplace for us the players

As a bedrock player this new UI feels uncomfortable and unnecessary the space feels off and the alignment of the buttons makes the player character feel far away. Also having the setting button so much smaller makes navigating less intuitive. Overall I am not a fan of it at all.

    1. Please add an a toggle to make it always show the social menu instead of the dressing room avatar (or add a hotkey to see it immediately). I regularly check which of my friends are online, and hiding that behind an extra button press is extremely irritating. I have zero need for an immediate on-demand review of what I'm wearing.

    2. Bring back the full settings menu button.

    3. Put labels on the tiny buttons. I had no idea what two of three buttons were until I clicked on them. I thought the screenshot button would let me browse screenshots, not take one. I thought the book was to view a guide or something, not see achievements.

Not entirely keen on not being to see who is in the server with less easy access to change players roles. but also a security risk to streamers or YouTubers who are on Xbox or PC having their private friends shared globally when you are playing or adding people to a world.

I like the direction it's going, but the slightly transparent black box feels odd on the left side. Maybe a simple line or something on the end could fix it? I also can't stand how the settings are a tiny button meanwhile the marketplace takes up the part AFTER the resume button. It makes it unnecessarily annoying to change settings since I have to now press down 3 times just to change a feature. Maybe that can be fixed with switching the buttons so the current settings button is replaced with a market stall icon? It's highly inconvenient and overall kind of scummy.

I do not like these changes. The settings button should be one of the bigger options, not a small square on the bottom.

This looks like absolute garbage. Why are you screwing with random menus rather than actually improving anything about the game?? The main world’s menu is disgusting now, and now so is the pause menu?? Half the screen doesn’t need to be a useless giant picture of my skin. This is completely unnecessary and unwelcome. The team behind Minecraft continues to do terrible crap like this to the game while repeatedly neglecting bugs, missing features, and community requests. Why is the offhand slot STILL not fully implemented in bedrock? Why don’t lava farms work on Java? Can just two Microsoft/mojang employees put in maybe three hours of work to actually improve Minecraft? It’s exhausting when every update continues to make the game look like vomit and improves nothing.

awful had some commands that used the leader board to display things and with that being gone now all of that is gone.

Settings shouldn't be at the bottom as thats where game settings go to. I think it should be swapped with the marketplace because to be honest people aren't looking at it while they play.

Despite all the previous feedback that Beta & Preview players gave about replacing the "Browse Add-Ons!" button with the "Settings" button, this updated game menu was still shipped to the main game with absolutely no changes or signs that Feedback was acted on.

It's sad to see Mojang prioritise profits over the player experience. Updating the UI of Minecraft should be about making navigation easier for users not making monetization easier for the corporation.

I liked being able to access my profile right from the menu, and also what was the need to tuck away the list of players present in a world?

Swap the settings and 'browse addons' buttons in the pause menu. I and many others keep going to the marketplace being mistaken for setting.

From the persecution of a pc player:
    1. Settings button needs to be where the add-ons button is. No one pausing the game is doing so to spontaneously buy something from marketplace. I certainly haven’t. To take from an older comment: it feels like a malicious change to drive players to the marketplace store.
    2. The inclusion of a dark mode is something that’s nice but needs to have a way to toggle it on or off.
    3. The spacing for items is horrible, I don’t need for it to take 2-3 times as long to scroll to the settings I need (mainly noticed it on the video settings tab).
    4. Getting rid of the player username is something that while doesn’t necessarily cause problems, it also doesn’t fix any problem.

Overall I don’t care the changes shown.

Not a fan of this whatsoever.  Settings button being so small and not labeled is uncomfortable. Would be better off turning the Marketplace into such and replace the current Browse Add-ons with Settings. I also feel it suits Minecraft like it always has to have the buttons centered. Perhaps also have an option to blur and darken the background while its active to make it easier on the eyes. Java has the perfect style, main menu and pause menu; simple, easy and accessible, maybe go in that direction? People will love it

This change was not done to improve ui. In fact, it reduces usability by hiding the settings button, which is often used during gameplay, to instead promote the marketplace button which is never used during gameplay. If i want to go shopping for content i would do from the main menu, since most of the time i would need to stop playing to apply the new content. It is clearly malicious, using the setting button old place to try and get us to enter the market by mistake. Come on, this is a game for kids, are you trying to get advantage on them with such lousy tricks? You are better than that. We know it. Prove it by reverting this change. As for now, no more marketplace for me and my kids, sadly.
