Hello Mojang Team,
I’d like to share some feedback on villager behavior. Currently, villagers often get stuck or fail to reach their beds or workstations. They struggle with obstacles, take unrealistic paths, and sometimes fail to complete basic daily routines.
Pathfinding is limited : villagers don’t reliably find alternative routes around walls or doors. Objective management is rigid: if a bed or workstation is blocked, villagers often do nothing. Social interactions are poor: villagers can block each other and fail to navigate narrow spaces. Suggestions for improvement: Smarter pathfinding with automatic recalculation and obstacle avoidance.
Flexible objective selection (alternative beds/workstations). Better detection of the environment and distance to goals. Congestion handling so villagers can navigate around each other. Improving villager AI would make villages feel more alive and reduce frustration, without changing game balance.
Thank you for considering this !
