Mobs like allays that can also use the items you give them

There should be a mob that can carry items for you just like allays, but the mob could also use the items. For example, you could give it a sword and it will fight for you or you give it it a shield and it will block damage for you. There could also be uses for it that aren't combat related like planting the seeds you give it. Also, while this is optional you could also give it a specific area that it can do stuff in, and will not get out of. Also, this doesn't have to be a new mob, these features could also be added to allays, either way works.
