When you are making your redstone suggestions, please note that Java and Bedrock will not have the exact same the same redstone systems - this would require redoing redstone system completely on one platform or the other. The two systems are functionally different and are going to stay that way. Please be sure to tag your suggestions with (Java) or (Bedrock).

Compact, Challenging Redstone Components for Advanced Builds

Hi Mojang,

 

I’d love some new Redstone blocks that make big technical builds smaller without removing the challenge.

 

Ideas:

 

  • Torch Cluster: 1 block = multiple torches (configurable logic & delay)
  • Compact Bus: Carries multiple bits at once, reduces spaghetti wiring
  • Modular ALU Slices: Stackable 1-bit ALUs for 8–32 bit CPUs
  • Layered Memory Blocks: Vertical RAM towers, still requires addressing

 

 

Benefits:

 

  • Builds fit within render distance
  • Less lag for large machines
  • Keeps engineering and problem-solving fun

 

 

Would love to see ambitious Redstone projects become more realistic while keeping the creative challenge alive!
