Rabbit hide is currently one of the most useless items in the game, and now I propose some features to turn it into a useful ingredient:
*First, changing the name to just "Hide" will be perfect to give it a new scope.*
"Hide" as a mammal drop:
We could find this item in most mobs:
- Rabbit / 1 hide (body)
- Bat / 2-3 hides (body or wings, more than rabbit for the difficulty)
- Farm animals / 1-2 hides
- Big farm animals (cows, horses, llamas...) / 2-3 hides + the current amount of leather
- Wolf / 2-3 hides + Now wild wolves have more health points and get angry if the player is close enough time
- Ocelot / 1-2 hides + Now ocelots attack the player when is close to them and keep attacking if aren't breeded with cod + Ocelots now attack any fish
- Fox / 1-2 hides
New environmental animals:
The game doesn't need a lot of animals with complex mechanics, sometimes we're just looking for biomes with life (as bats), and I suggest some that could drop hides and xp:
- Squirrel (All taigas, all forests) / 1 hide (body)
- Hedgehog (All forests) / 1 hide (body)
- Skunk (Birch forest and Old taiga's) / 1-2 hides (body)
- Racoon (All forests) / 1-2 hides (body)
- Meerkat (Desert and Mesa) / 1-2 hides (body)
- Tapir (Sparce Jungle) / 2-3 hides
New Crafts
- File bundle: Bundle upgrade, carries 6 slots of books, interactive with chiseled bookshelves
- Tool belt: Copper item that can storage three tools inside
- Cape: Made with leather, hides and wool, trimmable to chestplates by a smithing table with a template
