Gradually Disappearing Dragon Fog

Unbeknownst to a lot of players, when the Ender Dragon is alive, the Main End Island is covered by a thick Fog which obstructs the player's vision. When the Dragon is killed, the Fog disappears. However, the Fog disappears instantly, and when the Dragon is summoned again, it reappears instantly. It would look better, in my opinion, if said Dragon Fog disappeared and reappeared more smoothly, more gradually over 4-6 seconds. The instant appearance and disappearance of the Fog is really jarring once you notice it. Thank you for your time :)
