Villagers being able to trade you iron

I personally don't like iron golem farms, but it's really tempting to make one especially if you need a lot of iron for hoppers, beacons, pistons, etc.

I don't think the mechanics that make iron farms possible should be removed but I do think it would be great if players are given an alternative option that is as convenient as an iron farm but is more humane like making villagers trade you iron for example.
