Copper torches and lanterns already have a green flame texture, but the light they emit is still yellow, like regular torches. This feels inconsistent — if the flame looks green, the light should match. In real life, copper burns with a green flame, so matching the light would make Minecraft more immersive and visually appealing.
Similarly, soul torches and lanterns have a blue flame texture, but currently their blue glow could be emphasized more to match the flame color. Making copper emit green light and soul items emit blue light would add variety, make these items stand out, and give builders more creative options.
These changes would also create a clear, intuitive connection between the flame color and the light it produces, making the game feel more polished. Colored lighting could be slightly dimmer than regular torches to keep balance, just like soul torches.
Please consider this small but impactful visual improvement — it’s a simple change that enhances realism, aesthetics, and player creativity.
