Many people are talking about how we can make copper torches with a copper ingot on a torch, so similarly they are talking about having full green (copper) fire blocks. We already have standard fire by lighting anything with a flint and steel, and an infinite fire source by lighting netherack. We also have infinite blue fire by lighting soul ans or soul soil on fire. It makes sense to continue the trend with infinite green fire by lighting some sort of copper-variant block. If not with an existing block already, maybe we can introduce a new block that would allow for this? (also copper campfires, since we have soul campfires!)
The first thing that comes to my mind is infusing netherrack with copper to allow for this, so we can use this "copper-infused netherrack" as our infinite green fire source. It also opens the doors for other colored fire to be added in this way, by infusing their respective materials with netherrack. Of course, other, more creative, solutions are always a possibility. This is just one i've briefly came up with to help jog the idea.
I just think that, now that we've been getting different colored torches like with blue and green, after all this time, i don't see a real reason why we should stop here and now. (Purple fire could derive from the end blocks, for example)
