Built-In Skin Editor For Minecraft Launcher

An official skin editor to the Skins tab in the launcher (Or at least a redirect to some sort of official skin making website) would be a great next step for player creativity as a whole, and would help make a player's experience feel more personal.
This could also potentially allow for more customization options beyond what a normal image file allows, such as allowing for glowing pixels; The same way an enderman's eyes glow.
Third party skin editors would maintain the same functionality with image files, and adding extra details would involve simply adding those details in by editing the skin on the official editor, or by using a seperate image file for something such as emissivity.
For accessibility settings, any skin emissivity could also easily be toggled to not appear on any player skins.
