Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of Minecraft

The current version playable on Nintendo Switch 2 is NOT a dedicated version for the Nintendo Switch 2, like how the PS5 version of Minecraft is a separate version from the PS4 version with a bunch of enhancements. The Nintendo Switch 2 version of Minecraft needs a full upgrade similar to games on the console like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Increase the render distance, allow Vibrant Visuals, increase the framerate cap, the list goes on and on. I think the current version is fine, however I speak for myself and many others when I say we would all much prefer a full fledged upgrade as opposed to just improved performance of the Switch 1 edition. Get creative too, let us use mouse controls for UI maybe? Gyro for camera control? Lots of possibilities!

  yeah main 2 priorities for me are vibrant visuals and then the joy con mouse support. i can do vibrant visuals on my phone but not on the switch 2, it’s not even worth installing minecraft on the platform until they have a dedicated version for the switch 2 unfortunately
