I think the Wither fight in java is far too easy. People constantly have been able to defeat it by either trapping it in a cave/bedrock and kill it with the most basic gear. I saw a guy beat the java Wither with a stone sword and no armour by spawning it in a tunnel
The Wither in Java i think should be programmed similarly to the Wither in Bedrock Edition if not the same. The Bedrock Wither actually has the qualities of a full on bossfight, such as spawning enemies, having unique attacks and trying to shoot at the player from a distance and not just constantly flying up to the player and aimlessly firing skulls
If the Java Wither was programmed like/to match the Bedrock Wither, it would give java players a greater challenge and will get to experience the version of the Wither they havent fought yet. It would also make obtaining a beacon/killing the wither feel like a proper challenge and an achievement.
Another idea is tweaking the Wither to make the fight more feasible. When the wither does it's dash attack (in bedrock edition) it causes the blocks it breaks to drop which makes the game lag. If this was removed it would make the fight more doable than having to worry about being lagged out by the constant dropping of items. Aswell as this, if the wither was immune to say suffocation, people would actually have to try and fight it instead of just placing it on the nether roof and let it die naturally
