Dear Mojang Studios, I hope you're all doing well. I just wanted to pass on an idea that I think would be a good addition to the growing world of Minecraft something small but visually impressive: Copper Fire. Just like how Soul Soil and Soul Sand produce Soul Fire, the blue flame, I also thought it would be fitting and awesome if copper blocks such as regular Copper, Cut Copper, or even oxidized blocks emitted a green flame when set ablaze. Copper actually burns with a green flame in life, so this would be extremely thematic and visually consistent. This idea actually feels even more fitting now with the new update, where you added the Copper Lantern and the Copper Torch which already gives off that beautiful green fire. It shows that green fire is already included in the copper vibe in Minecraft, and to take that to fire on copper blocks feels like the next logical step. It would also be cool to add Copper Campfires. Quick Summary: Fire placed straight on copper blocks can burn green just as Soul Fire burns blue. Adds depth and creativity to builds, is consistent with the reasoning of present-day mechanics, and keeps copper special. This would be such an awesome feature for me and other builders, writers, and players who like to create magical or alchemical environments in their worlds. Thank you so very much for working so hard on the game.
