Green fire on copper block would be amazing, and it can have certain effect on mobs or the copper golem!

Option 1 but also option 2 just craft a copperblock with netherrack into a brazier. That would look nice for decoration!

I like the option 2 to use flint and stell on copper to make green fire.

green campfires and regular blocks of fire are surely things we now need (and green flame of jack o lantern, just damn imagine them green.. or blue for that matter)
idea, make scraping oxidation from copper blocks having chance of dropping copper dust (not consuming blocks themselves), dust being combined with netherack (ever lasting flame block) to make it support green fire, if dust is combined with campfire, it makes green campfire
alternatively nuggets could be just used instead of copper dust so no another new item is needed, just nugget and netherack for green fire block
maybe even making those blocks generate somewhere naturally, however where or what structure that should be I am not sure
copper blocks themselves should not support ever lasting fire so even if fire on them could be green, I would personally prefer that to get extinguished like any flame on non-flamable block, permanent fire blocks should be more restricted to match other ones, copper is one of esiest ores to get and get blocks of, and is counterintuitive if they would just let fire burn for ever, while netheract infused with copper makes more sense, and is at same progression stage as netherack itself, so its usage would be purely decorative decision over regular flame

Ontop of this feature, the Raw Copper Block should have a special feature in that fires lit on it don't naturally burn out.
Its a copper block that is probably the least used in builds, and to me it makes sense out of the copper family of blocks to get that a special feature to make it more widely useful.

I vote option 1 because I've wanted to see multiple colors of minecraft for a while, and limiting green flame to being on copper blocks would therefore also limit creativity when building.

Flint & Copper would make Flint and Steel useless except for more duribility a guess but I'm al for option 2.
