A copper torch should have its own features

The game now has 4 types of torches:
1. An ordinary torch illuminates the area
2. A redstone torch is used in mechanisms (and illuminates less)
3. A soul torch scares away piglins (and illuminates less too)
4. A copper torch that repeats the functionality of a regular torch

Let the copper torch have its own purpose and be connected to the copper golems.

For example, copper torches can guide golems. The copper golems will first go to those chests that have a copper torch next to them, or the golems will walk along a path of copper torches.

Both of these functions can be separated: one can be given to a copper torch, the other to a copper lantern. The greater the oxidation stage of the lantern, the less priority the golem has to go to it.
Or copper golems of a certain oxidation stage will only go to a lantern of the same oxidation stage.

    Just like copper oxidises, the torch should either change colour or get dimmer the more they are used

    I think that giving the copper torch a different functionality from the default torch is a great idea!

    Make the copper torch work underwater. This will fill a gap in underwater lighting, providing a early game alternative to lighting up oceans, instead of sea lanterns or pickles. It also fits with the connection between drowned and copper.

    "This will fill a gap in underwater lighting" what gap? Lanterns work underwater and we even are getting more types.
