Copper usages/progression of the game

So, I am a Java player, but I've been seeing some Bedrock previews showcasing copper tools and the work, which is nice. However, can we make it part of the progression? So now it is wood, stone, then copper, and copper is needed to obtain iron, and then iron is needed to obtain diamonds and other ores. I think the addition of rose gold would be pretty cool to see as a decor block and make variations of it. Also I feel like the copper golem's build cost is too little, since it makes a copper chest along with the golem, so possibly 2 blocks of copper instead of the one? since nearly every golem thus far needs at least 2 blocks before the copper golem came out.  thank you for reading and have a wonderful day.
