Mossy Golem
The Mossy Golem originates from Minecraft Legends, where it served as a healing unit. However, I believe this mob could fit nicely into Minecraft Vanilla as part of the Autumn Drop, reimagined as a helpful garden irrigator with decorative statue features, much like the Copper Golem.
How is it summoned?
It is created using a moss block or pale moss block and a carved pumpkin.
The type of moss used will define its appearance and decorative behavior.
Main Function:
-
If a player, villager, pet, or iron golem takes damage within 5 blocks, the Mossy Golem will launch a small burst of healing water, restoring half a heart at intervals.
-
It extinguishes fire on entities, campfires, and burning blocks nearby.
-
Hydrates farmland passively without needing a water source nearby.
-
When fed bone meal, it boosts crop fertility, improving yield and reducing negative outcomes like poisonous potatoes.
Decorative Function:
It can be turned into a statue using a honeycomb, making it ideal for decorating fountains, gardens, plazas, or paths.
-
Its pose changes depending on the moss block used:
-
Regular moss: cheerful or nurturing poses, watering nearby blocks.
-
Pale moss: shy or directional poses, watering in a specific direction.
