The Tuff Golem was a charming idea with a lot of visual potential, but its original item-holding mechanic has now been covered by new blocks like the item shelves. That’s why this proposal reimagines it as a decorative, magical, and versatile entity, blending aesthetics with light utility without stepping on the toes of other mobs.
With the return of the Copper Golem, why not give the Tuff Golem a second chance?
This redesign turns it into a customizable and interactive statue, focused on decoration and immersive ambiance.
Summoning:
Crafted using one tuff block, dyed wool (determines outfit style), and a carved pumpkin.
Decorative Function:

Can be waxed with honeycomb to become a statue with random poses.

Right-clicking with a water or lava bucket causes it to slowly pour the liquid, like a decorative fountain.

Hitting it with an axe removes the wax, reactivating the golem.
Unique Ability:
Uses a new item called incense (crafted with honeycomb, resin, and a flower).
— Repels undead mobs and makes creepers and spiders passive within a small radius.
— While in statue form, if incense is active, it prevents hostile mob spawns within 32 blocks.
A way to bring builds to life with both charm and function—perfect for gardens, temples or other buildings.
