Chirping in Color

Would you like more decoration for your armor, decor for your house and more villagers to trade with? Then this update will have you covered. Cardinals and bluejays have not been added to Minecraft (yet). Neither have villagers that love nature. With this update red and bluebirds will be flying to the skies. A new type of photographer villager can take pictures of these colorful birds. You’ll be able to sell your emeralds to purchase these photographs to decorate your homes. Not only that, the photographer will also sell their red and blue feathers for decorating your armor. I propose that these could also be used to create a hat. If you would love to have the birds’ music playing in your house just pull out your bow and arrow and shoot the bird for feathers and a new music disc.

  You capture the birds not shoot them! Add little cages like Supplemenaties mod that holds small mobs that are bucketable sized but not water mobs. The cages can be used on chickens, bats, parrots, cats, ocelots, foxes, and every variation of songbird - and there should be FAR more than cardinals and bluejays. Make them like fish! We need a nature update like the aquatic one!

  Photography doesn't fit the feel of Minecraft - have a painter instead! Then give the painting trade to that villager. An easel workstation that lets you pick which paining you are applying instead of cycling through like a maniac. And a tool for you to make your own paintings which will replace map-art (better use of space). This gives a new purpose to the brush which can apply dyes like paints. 

  Since this is a color / ambience update, might I humbly add...

  • chimes - with variations and unique sounds for all wood and ore types 
  • whistles - right clicking on a bird will give that sound to. 
  • copper horns - please. pretty please.
  • music box - noteblock music rules, but it saves space and requires fewer resources. add fun allay reactions 
  • butterflies - same rules as birds
  • flowers, sticks, pebbles, pine-cones, and other forest litter.
  • squirrels. 
  • golden allay variant
  • earth and dungeon mob variants like muddy pig

  Remember Mojang. For every fan complaining there is too much stuff with not enough function, there are ten fans that actually like ambience updates and thought the Spring to Life was the best thing ever!
