Make Donkeys Great Again!

Donkeys for some time have been the ugly cousin of the horse donkey mule trio. Mules provide all that storage space, horses all that speed, and donkeys, flavor? So, what are donkeys known for in real life? Work. They excel at automating primitive machinery. Which is kinda perfectly exactly what redstone contraptions are. So, my idea? Redstone Leads. made from 1 lead and 1 redstone. Using a redstone lead, you can hook up a donkey to any redstone contraption and it will walk around in a circle around it. Turning the redstone signal on and off at fixed intervals. Great for repeated functionality, which is otherwise difficult to make. Maybe even throw in a few variables to increase/decrease their speed, affecting the tick rate that the contraption repeats at
