Opinions regarding the Locator Bar

I feel like the locator bar is a bit disruptive, at least to me. I don't know my XP to an exact amount, and I also feel like this can make conflicts between players escalate if they can't hide. Some players may want it on while others would find annoying. I think it's a good idea to keep this functionality part of the online settings rather than a gamerule command, and also allow players to choose if they want their location turned on or off.
