Hello Mojang,
The new beta copper armor, tools and golem sparked an idea: a full Bronze Age to enrich gameplay.
Bronze: smelt 2 Copper + 1 Iron ingots in an Alloy Furnace; blocks: 3 Copper Ingots + 3 Bricks + 3 Iron Ingots.
Tools (pick, shovel, axe): slightly weaker than iron but mine deepslate, clay, limestone faster and uncover archaeology shards intact. Armor: between iron and diamond; oxidizes like copper but can be waxed.
Enchantments
Conductive Strike: shocks mobs in storms.
Resonance: harvest glass/ice unbroken.
Antique Sense: bronze compass finds Bronze Ruins.
Redstone
Buttons/plates/levers emit longer signals.
Bronze repeater offers 0.75 / 1.5 ticks.
Conductive cables extend signal without repeaters.
Bronze compass guides to ruins.
Bronze Golem: built like an iron golem, weaker; reacts to lightning, stuns mobs, activates plates/levers for farms.
Bronze Ruins: underground or near shores, featuring Alloy Furnaces, bronze blocks, signal plates, patterned shards, templates, traps—echoes of a pre-iron civilization.
Advancements
Metallic Union (craft bronze)
Engineer by Trade (use bronze redstone)
Rustproof (wear bronze)
Conductor of Rage (strike mobs in storms with bronze)
Bronze won’t replace iron/diamond but adds a flexible mid-game metal for machines and logic.
