*Auto* Snow Farms

I am currently building a mountain with various kinds of stone and with snow blocks. However, I kept running out of snow blocks so I thought that I could build a snow farm, and I wanted an auto one since manually breaking snow is boring. So, I built an auto snow farm for bedrock, but I am on Java. And to my discovery I found out that pistons dont break snow like they do in bedrock. So, I think it would be only fair if in both game versions, snow could be broken by pistons.
