With the addition of the Mace in Minecraft 1.21, the Warden has become much easier to defeat, even though it was originally designed to be a mob players are supposed to avoid.
The Mace’s high falling damage potential allows players to deal huge damage while staying mostly out of reach, especially when combined with enchantments like Density and Wind Charge. This undermines the Warden's role as a near-invincible threat.
I suggest Mojang consider a Warden buff, such as:
• Reduced fall-damage vulnerability or resistance to Mace attacks
• Triggering an enraged state when hit by a Mace
• Increased health or armor penetration attacks
• Smarter AI that tracks players using vertical strategies
This would keep the Warden terrifying and restore the intended challenge of Deep Dark encounters. Thanks!
