Now when you find an underwater ravine there is a high chance you will find the new structure, the flooded shrine/weathered ruins (the same structure but the flooded shrine is full of water and the other isn't) in this structure, you must traverse through a stronghold like structure, fighting against several different underwater mobs. Your goal is to find the dark conduits (they can't be moved or broken) and you must activate them. Activate every (5-8) dark conduit to unlock the new boss room. Fighting the brand new (and now defeatable) boss, the ripple. This boss requires actual strategy. Upon defeating it you get the new whirlpool conduit. This block can be broken and placed wherever you want at any time infinitely (best broken by the shovel) to spawn in the underwater mobs you found in the structure, and ran rarely even find the ripple. The whole point of the whirlpool conduit is to have a portable mob farm, which can help as a sort of replacement of XP bottles being used in pvp as they will spawn in one mob and once it dies, it spawns in another. As a way to repair things that have mending on the go.
