Error with stick crafting recipie 1.21.6 java

Hey, I was playing on my hardcore world on java, and I was looking at what I could craft, and I saw I could make sticks, but the sticks icon had a glitch and it showed 2 sticks it might have been because I had bamboo and 2 planks??? if you know, thank you for your time please make this fixed!!! 🤗
