As of version 1.21.100, the Vibrant Visuals are now improved and playable.

    • The performance is a lot better. I now have 80 to 120 FPS with the feature turned ON. It still needs improvements compared to other modern games though.
    • The RAM utilization is now a little bit lower. But still way to high for what the game is.
    • The input delay problem I had is completely fixed.

So thank you Mojang for your work on the feature. Please keep on because Vibrant Visuals still needs improvements

Have just started playing minecraft again for the first time in a few months to be blasted in the face by this new visual. PS4 cannot handle the change and goes beserk. Also the colours are nothing like the promoted photos on google. They are bright neon colours and the textures are blurred out making things like trees look like blobs. Also as someone with Autism, I found the colours to be very overwhelming and distressing. I am not someone who goes into the depths of settings so did not know this was now the default and could be turned off. In my opinion should not be the default but an option instead, especially until it is made to look like the promoted photos where the colours are still muted like the original colours but the sky more detailed and the water crystal clear. And most certainly should not be a default whilst it makes my PS4 sound like it will explode from what is being asked of its performance levels. Also the colours through the fog are even worse. There is nothing clean and detailed about this and nothing like the shaders/texture packs you can get.

Still terrible on PS5. Even after lowering settings it still constantly drops out of vrr range. It's a nice photo mode but that's really all it's good for. Would love for it to be playable as well.
