The new Vibrant Visuals (stable bedrock) have the following problems compared to shader packs on Java Edition:
- The performance is bad. I barely reach 60 FPS on my RTX 3070 with medium settings. I can run the Iris Shader pack on Java with high settings better than this.
- The colors are broken. Everything is yellow in the overworld, and yellow looks orange.
- Vibrant Visuals consume way too much memory. Minecraft Bedrock now occupy up to 9 GB of RAM, while I still have a lot of VRAM to spare. I can run the Iris shader pack with only 3 or 4 GB filled. Memory management is actually terrible with Bedrock.
- When Vibrant Visuals are on and chunks are loading, I sometimes experience incredibly high input lag. My character and the UI can take many seconds to respond, while the games still runs at 50+ FPS. To be clear: I experience this input delay ONLY in Minecraft Bedrock with Vibrant Visuals and in single player as well.
- [EDIT] Minecraft RTX performs way better than Vibrant Visuals on my machine.
- [EDIT] Vibrand Visuals must be available for all worlds, icluding servers and marketplace maps.
So compared with existing shader mods for Java Edition or the RTX ressource pack for Bedrock, Vibrant Visuals really need a lot of work.
