1.21.6's New Atmospheric Fog - It's Bad!

The new "atmospheric fog" is awful. Please, please let us disable it; it makes me feel like my glasses need to be cleaned and looking at it for too long genuinely gives me a headache. This is an accessibility issue, and the fact that it can't be disabled feels like a huge oversight, and even a small act of hostility towards those of us with vision-related disabilities.

    Yea exactly!
    I dont mind that its in the game and im glad others enjoy it, but let it be a toggle for it!
    I've tried every video setting to resolve it and nothing works, also no resource packs yet.

    I personally don't like it at all, I don't think I could get used to it but I respect if others can. It would be perfect an option to turn it on/off, for now, I'll play in older versions.

    I agree. I hate the fog, and it really does make me feel like something is wrong with my screen or eyes whenever looking at a distance which is basically whenever I'm not mining. The visibility during rain is also so much worse. I just want to be able to disable it. Let the people that like it enjoy it and those that don't not have to use it.
