The issue with most shader packs, including Vibrant Visuals, as it is now, is that they make the Nether and End so dark that they are borderline unplayable.
In shaderless Vanilla gameplay, this is handled by removing light levels as a visual factor in those dimensions. Despite the Nether and End being largely unlit, mired in light level 0 unless a there's a lightsource nearby, it always looks like light level 16 anywhere, just like the Overworld during daytime.
But Shaders are much more honest, and if the light level is low, then it will be dark, including within the Nether and End. If possible, it would be nice for Vibrant Visuals to pull the same trick as Vanilla, by fibbing a higher visual light level so we don't go in blind. It doesn't need to be completely bright, not like in Vanilla, but if everything looked like Light Level 4 or 5, it would still be shady enough to be dark, but not so much we can't see, and placed light sources would still make a visually stunning display.
