Goal: Enrich Minecraft with acoustic-inspired music and villager interactions.
Five instruments (Guitar, Kora, Shakuhachi, Pan Flute, Oud) share a G-major pentatonic scale, enabling villagers to perform cohesive 4-bar ambient loops with chords, melodies, flutes, pads, and drones.
Instrument-specific Note Blocks mimic timbres:
Kora: harp-like arpeggios
Oud: bass drones
Pan Flute: airy sustains
Shakuhachi: breathy bends
Hand Drum: slap/bass modes
Composer’s Table: GUI for 16-step grids; exports Sheet Music scrolls playable by Jukeboxes. Minstrel villagers (Music Stand job) perform loops thrice daily, granting a Calm effect; players can learn or trade music.
Biomes gain a “Musical” ambient layer blending with villages; night introduces unique motifs. Jukebox UI now supports playlists (8 tracks) with crossfades and Bass/Treble sliders.
New discs: four world-folk tracks and a hidden “Globetrotting Minstrel.” Redstone tools: Sequencer Block for step-based loops and Rhythm Sensor converting footsteps into percussion.
Visuals: unique block models, instrument animations, particle effects, and a Composer’s Table GUI with real-time preview.
Benefits: Immersive village culture, expanded creative expression, exploration via trading and rare disc hunts and a modular foundation for future expansions.
