Hi Mojang Team, I love playing Minecraft Bedrock Edition, but I’ve noticed that combat feels a bit harsher compared to Java Edition, especially because the blocking system isn’t as balanced. I have an idea to improve combat in Bedrock by adding a blocking mechanic that scales with difficulty. Here’s how it would work: When a player blocks with a sword the amount of damage reduced depends on the game difficulty. Easy difficulty: blocks 1 point of damage Normal difficulty: blocks 2 points of damage Hard difficulty: blocks 3 points of damage This system would make blocking meaningful with sword block. It would also help balance Bedrock combat against Java Edition combat, making fights like the Wither more fair but still challenging. Why this is important: Bedrock combat is faster and harder than Java, so players need better defensive options. Sword blocking should remain less powerful than shields to keep combat balanced. Difficulty scaling lets players enjoy the game at their preferred challenge level.this bring back oId sword block system to bedrock but not much powerful very less damage only block.I hope you consider adding this feature to Bedrock Edition.
