Bedrock has been suffering from the lack of shaders since 1.16. With the introduction of RenderDragon, shaders are dead. Although the community has created some tools to use shaders again, these feel like an unnecessary hustle, and there is support for loading materials.bin through MCPacks should be directly given. It's funny how the community has been able to make mods like Material Bin Loader, which allows materials. Been through MCPacks, but a big company like Mojang can't. If things stay like this, Bedrock can never compete with Java. While Java has countless client-side mods, we don't even have shaders in Bedrock.
