Why add Nullusks?
Currently the End only has 3 native mobs, 1 of which is a Boss, another is only found in End Cities, and another appears everywhere in every dimension. I think adding a new End-exclusive mob (and Outer End-exclusive as well) would really spice up End travel and gameplay, taking advantage of the End's strange environment to challenge players with gameplay not seen anywhere else.
As for the Nullusk, I think it would be a really cool and wacky addition that fits in with the End's aesthetic and provides lots of use in the form of Nulling Ink!
Nullusks
A Nullusk (pun on zero and mollusk) is an Outer End-exclusive Neutral mob that slowly slides across blocks from all sides and float instead of falling. They are vibrant, resembling sea snails. These pesky creatures leave a mysterious substance that makes blocks disappear temporarily to non-Nullusks! Watch out when bridging near these things...
Coming near them causes them causes them to puff out Nulling Ink, making nearby blocks disappear. If attacked or touched, they turn hostile, firing vibrant nullifying lasers at the attacker and blocks in between. Use ranged attacks to defeat them safely. Upon death, all nearby nullified blocks turn back to normal.
Nulling Ink can be really useful too. Elsewhere, Nulling Ink can be used to revert Written Books and Enchanted Books to Book & Quills and Books respectively, to remove banner patterns, and perhaps even to make Nulled Item Frames so that items can be displayed as-is.
