Dried ghasts being hydrated by the rain

If you try to hydrate a dried ghast using the rain, it wont hydrate. Dried ghasts should be able to be hydrated by the rain because first, it is technically water and, in other cases, wolves can get wet in water and in rain so...

    Great idea. Rain is considered water in other parts of the game too: cauldrons can fill with rain, riptide can be used in the rain, and zombies and skeletons don’t burn when it’s raining. Allowing dried ghosts to hydrate in the rain would be consistent with these features.

    it would never rain long enough to hydrate the dried ghast, it never rains for 20 minutes, so when it stops raining, all your progress would be reset, making this feature practically useless

    Huh. As a risky way to get rain detectors? Niche, but neat.

    It would be a problem when using the dried ghast for decoration. If I make a statue out in the open using a dried ghast, for example, it would hydrate and could ruin the statue.
