Placing books in lecterns using dispensers!

My idea is to use dispensers filled with books so they can be placed on lecterns.

    I could see it being useful. Would Hoppers also be able to transport books in and out of Lecterns?

    Honestly not a bad idea.

    Also as commenter above asked - maybe also adding the ability for hoppers to take the book out would be nice?

    I'm seconding this, I feel like making lecterns able to have interactions with other redstone components would help make them more useful in some cases. Dispensers should put book and quills or written books inside it and droppers or minecarts with hoppers should be able to remove the book from it.
