What makes even less sense is the fact that an Xbox Series X can go to a 28 chunk render distance with vibrant visuals, even though it is less powerful than some gaming PCs.

Yeah, I always play with 40 chunk render distance and my main base spot for my 4-year-old world was chosen because of the views! It's such a disappointment that vibrant visuals caps at 24 chunks even though I play on a gaming laptop that can easily handle my standard 40 with the new updates, as ray tracing and shadows are something I wanted in the game for a very long time. It feels like an unnecessary restriction for those of us that actually can run those higher settings. Why not make it so it pulls up a warning letting us know that we should expect performance issues like it normally does, rather than just capping it and restricting all of us despite our technological capabilities? Hopefully they change this in the next update!!

I don't understand the 24 chunk limit at all. My PC can take it.

It’s so annoying, I’ve built a huge stadium and I’m literally holding out for them to increase the render distance, I can’t even see the other side of the stadium. I’m on ps5
