I love having animal companions in games, but one of the things I find most annoying is when they're too noisy! Unfortunately this is very much a problem with tamable mobs in Minecraft. Cats meow frequently, dogs bark and whimper, and parrots constantly chirp and make all kinds of noises. One or two pets is bad enough, but the instant you get more it's an absolute cacophony. I want to fill my house with animal friends or explore with tamed mobs without having to turn my sounds down.
I'm fine with cute animal noises. I'd just like them to be a little less frequent. Noises triggered by specific things aren't an issue either (i.e. wolves growling in combat, cats begging for food, etc). Just the idle sounds that play all the time. Surely I'm not the only person who'd like to see this changed.
