New fruits and stuff

It adds apple trees and that's the only way to get apples now and they are a brighter oak texture and there's bananas and strawberries and oranges and blueberries and golden potatoes that do the same thing as golden carrots and dragon fruit and peaches grapes and pears and corn and tomatoes and diamond apples they use diamond blocks and give you every good effect at level 6 and nether apples that just are cool looking apples

    Yes! And mangos that grow on jungle trees or a new type of tree in the jungle.

    That's a LOT for one drop and requires a lot of research too. 4 trees, each with full woodsets, loads of item models, 6 crops with 3-4 growth stages each. Clamors for alcohol that will likely be in jest but will be over-done. 

    This being said, I really love it. The cozy farmer players haven't gotten much love lately. Most of them are on Farmer's Delight and Let's Do series, left behind in 1.20. A broader farming update should be implemented before a fruit one to require players to interact with this mechanic. 

    A farming update should have:

    • a scarecrow, a redstone block (happy Redstoners) 
    • crows, which steal food and trinkets but can be killed for shinies like iron or gold nuggets and rarely an ender pearl. (happy Speedrunners) 
    • an oven, placeable bread and pumpkin pie, cookie jar, (happy builders)
    • "Comfort" and "Nutrition" effects that come from more complicated meals (happy players in general) 

    I think the last point will be the most important because it will encourage the most interaction with the system.
