    I can agree with that; I'd say that it's more suitable for building and less for travel. Perhaps, mojang could add a way to speed up happy ghasts, like feeding them snowballs for a temporary speed effect, like say, ghasts can speed up to 3 times their usual speed for about 15-30 seconds per snowball. Think that is reasonable, mojang? Since they already grow up faster with snowballs and will follow you when you have one.

    YES! Happy ghasts move too slow.I think they're great for building. BUT it should be affected by speed potion to increase their flight speed!

    The happy ghast should be faster than a horse when a player is riding it, extremely slow when no one is riding it, and it should stop instantly when a player stops moving it instead of gliding to a stop. It could move up and down slowly, but forwards, backwards, left, and right need to be fast.

    just add a snowball on a stick that like carrots on a stick and warped fungus on a stick will speed up happy ghast travel by double for ten seconds it would be craftable by combing a snowball with a fishing rod.

    That's true happy ghast is slow. If even it's a little more fast it won't be better than elytra

    The Ghast is too slow make it at least as fast as a horse or a player in sprint. PLEASE MOJANG IM BEGGING YOU

    I finally got to play with the happy ghast today. The update shouldnt be called "chase the skies" if its not about actually chasing the skies. Every year the updates add less and less. Stop trying to please everyone who whines and bring minecraft back to how it was when I was a kid. ADD NEW THINGS. CHANGE THE FORMULA. STOP TAKING HALF MEASURES.

    Maybe they can make happy ghasts have a sprint? So its slow for using to build, then a bit faster for travel. I understand for power balancing its tough. But happy ghasts have been pretty useless for me so far because of the speed issue. It would be a really fun way to travel and explore if it wasn't painfully slow. Even using it for building is painful, because of how slow it is to fly them to the construction site

    I was happy when I heard the news of a rideable ghast during this year's summer and when I ride it it was slower than sprinting with slowness

    I don't even use my ghast due to the speed problem, which makes the hassle not worth it. to find one, bring it home, make a stable for it with supplies, find snow, and then all the waiting only for it to be essentially useless and just more bloat in the game SUCKS. I really wanted one because I wanted to use it specifically to transport mobs. We have scaffolding, it does not need to be this slow!!!!
