I noticed that currently, colored lighting effects for light sources like redstone torches and soul lanterns only appear when point lights are enabled. It would be a meaningful improvement if colored lighting could be decoupled from point lights.
If it's technically feasible, reusing the same RGB values from point lights as a simple visual tint in the standard lighting system, kinda like how torches have it in the current game, could help preserve the intended aesthetic while reducing performance impact for lower-end systems.
This change would also help eliminate the small delay that happens when a point light is removed and the lighting takes a moment to update, making things feel smoother and more consistent overall.
