Kindled Creeper/Charged Kindled Creeper
So... the zombie's got its variants (drowned, husk) and the skeleton's got its variants (stray, wither, bogged). But Minecraft's most iconic mob, the creeper (sorry, chickens), doesn't have a variant. How about a Kindled variant? Here's my idea:
Whenever a creeper is brought from the over world into the Nether, it zombifies, similar to Piglins and Hoglins (only vice versa). But instead of becoming weaker, the Nether has a strange effect on the supposed plant-like species. Instead of causing the creeper's inner system to detonate, it warps and strengthens it, causing the creeper to catch on fire, but not take damage or blow up. The creeper becomes a Kindled Creeper, and much scarier. Classified as an undead mob, it is now much more powerful. Similar to the regular creeper, it creeps up and blows up... causing more than a simple explosion. A stream of lava shoots vertically out of it, destroying all blocks (except bedrock) and entities in its path. A large crater is created, with a lave stream going up and down. If a charged creeper becomes a kindled creeper (or vice versa), its explosion is even more powerful.
Two ideas for kindled creeper drops: a) gunpowder and fire charges; b) blastpowder or soulpowder, a variation of gunpowder. A new type of TNT, Warped/Soul/Corrupted TNT, could be crafted using a) TNT and fire charges, or b) blastpowder and soul sand. Personally, I like the Soul TNT.
That's my idea; hope you like it.
