Let Blast Resistance be editable

Minecraft has been making an effort to be more data-driven, which is allowing for a further amount of creativity and flexibility for creators. One small thing I would love is being able to edit the properties of blocks in general. One tag I wish blocks would have was Blast Resistance. For instance, it would be great to either make some or all Obsidian non-immune to explosions, or stop water from making everything immune to explosions. It would open up some room for ideas I had for a tower defense survival gamemode! More customization, especially when only accessed through commands, never really hurt, right?
