I feel like eventhough the ocean is already very vibrant, there's still something missing. I mean the corals, the dolphins, and stuff are cool and all but the spirit of adventure is a bit lousy and is a bit lacking. So straight to the point:
-Add Shoreline Villages
-Add new type of pillager raid, a sea raid. More like a pirate raid but pillagers.
-Bigger boats that pillagers ride on. They're uncraftable and can only be obtained when the pillager crew on it are all killed. It can't be broken like a normal boat obviously. They can house up to 5 players/mob which is cool. It looks cool too plus you can add banners on it to express your sea dominance. It's treated as an entity and has a health bar although it wouldn't be "hearts" of course but instead logs or whatever could fit lol. The captain's wheel is the only seat that can make the boat move.Would be cool if the captain stands while others sit
-Pillager Sea Territory. Basically something like a pillager outpost but the territory is like a slime chunk. Within this chunk, pillager pirates occasionally circle around and sort of protects this area. Pillager on boats occasiinally spawns here. Even rarer are bigger boat variants.
-Finally, of course a maritime warfare will not be complete without cannons. The cannon shells, once fired, will cause a small hole on any blocks it collides with, maybe a 2-4 block wide hole. It would use the same blast resistance property of blocks in its calculation whether a block is to be destroyed.
