Add persons of colour to core cast of Steve and Alex

We need to see playable characters in the core 'cast' with Steve and Alex. It is not enough to have skins for persons of colour or customization options. Why this is needed is because representation matters. Minecraft has players from around the world and it's time it's core cast of Steve and Alex expand to reflect that. How this can be accomplished is by hiring human systems consutants or using existing staff to examine this issue in-depth, ask for community involvement, and act in accordance with efforts to produce a fuller representation of Minecraft's player base in its toy products well as the game system.

  I like your idea, in theory. Its a good idea but I don't think it matters. Alex is Swedish, Steve is tan/brown but probably Swedish too and we have lots of skins to pick from already. I think we need to keep Minecraft original! (Btw this post is by a Mexican female, if that matters)

  They could add some of the character from the Minecraft Dungeons game who are of color!
